In Those Moments

I think it’s important to start making a conscious effort every single day to find a reason to be glad and thankful about something, anything no matter what crazy up or down emotion we're feeling. Im not going to let what my heart (emotions) wants to feel in that moment, channel the rest of my day. I’m going to shift my perspective from my current idle thought to being glad and thankful. Am I going to fail at this some days, or at certain moments? HECK YEAH I’m human, you’re human but it’s okay as long as we redirect ourselves, and center our energy into that positive realm. We have to... I personally have to, in order to keep my sane, healthy mind and spirit. I realized that there's always going to be those sneaky joy-sucking foxes that pop up in our daily lives. There are things that are going to happen in our marriages, with our children, mundane jobs, life-sucking people. But we have to remember, that those things don't necessarily define us or control us. So redirect those thoughts, find your zin. Let off that positive aura, and speak life into your day!
